Our Process

First, we meet with representative board members to discuss the project on site prior to attending your next HOA board meeting. At the meeting, we present samples of fencing options that interest you, including cedar, split rail, vinyl, Trex, ornamental iron, chain link, and masonry. Along with these fence samples, we enter the meeting prepared to provide you up front with information on material availability, general pricing estimates, and maintenance best practices for both fencing and gates.

Second, if you’d like to live with a couple options for a while and solicit feedback from your HOA residents to determine the fence material and height you want, we will set up fence samples for you within the community. Once you’ve selected your desired fencing material, we’ll formalize our installation plan, clearly communicating each step of our process, our estimated timeline, and how we plan to minimize the disturbance and impact of installation on your HOA community. Once the installation is complete, we invite you to join us for a final walk-through to ensure your satisfaction and to address any questions.

Our relationship with your HOA doesn’t stop after installation. Since we obtain our materials from some of the most reputable fencing production companies, many of our products have factory warranties that range from 20 to 30 years.

Knowing that proper maintenance is essential to keeping fences in excellent condition, Split Rail Fence has created a special fence maintenance program just for HOA communities. In addition to the warranties listed above, this program provides yearly inspections for your newly installed fence, as well as an industry-standard one-year warranty to cover any defective materials and workmanship issues.
